Welcome to the Working Papers Series of the American University of Rome!
The AUR Working Papers Series was established in 2006 to publish work by AUR staff as well as outside scholars by invitation. The aim of the series is to stimulate creativity, research and academic discussion at the American University of Rome, and also to share ideas with global academia. There is not a single thematic focus for the papers. The AUR working papers may for example address themes taken up in AUR courses, in AUR workshops, or may simply relate to research or research-related interests by individual faculty members.
There will be no formal editing process of the AUR working papers. AUR Working Papers may however have gone through revisions either as a result of presentations at seminars or following a short internal review process. The review process and discussion may also happen via reader comments after the paper is posted under the AUR Working Papers series. The Working Papers series invites finished works and work in progress.
